The search for a job still continues for Dustin, but we have had some positive news. The Halliburton job has had some movement, and if all goes well he can go in for the "2nd interview" in a couple weeks. Another guy he worked with at Gables, Gary, gave him a job lead with a company he was with Martin Harris. Gary this week switched jobs to another company. Basically what I am trying to say is that opened up 2 possible job opportunities. Please continue to pray that something comes up for us soon. We are continuing to be positive, and have started back to church. My childhood church St. Peter's United Methodist got a new preacher, and we really like him. He is an excellent preacher and motivational speaker. He really knows how to take the word of God, and inspire everyone in the congregation. We know God has a plan for us, but we hope the lesson he wanted us to learn from this is soon coming to an end. We are both ready to get back to a normal, somewhat predictable routine. So please please please keep us in your daily prayers!
I am continuing to work strongly with my key accounts Charming Charlie, Francesca's, and Stage Stores. I am also working the Handy Hardware show again this year. It is in San Antonio this year. Dustin, my Mom, and I are heading up to Boerne Wednesday to set up Thursday morning for the show. I am representing more vendors then ever this year at the show, so I need all the help I can get! My Mom has helped me the past 3 years, and I am so grateful she still is willing to help out. I am excited that Dustin is coming this year too. Last year I cussed out a wagon I was putting together for about 30 minutes, and even threw a screwdriver across the booth. I got a lot of stares, and even one brave individual who asked if I needed help. I think my handy man will have better luck, and I won't look like a complete weirdo to the other vendors. I am working this week trying to get all my "ducks in a row" for my show.
Last weekend we were in Boerne, relaxing, and helping Charlie my brother-in-law watch my nephew. My sister went to Colorado to visit her friend Page, and Ryder was left alone with Dad. We had a blast! He is growing up so fast...and I mean Ryder, not Charlie. He is starting to talk in sentences, and it is hilarious to listen to him talk. Since the boys were trapping the exotics in the evenings, Ryder and I hung out at the house. I made dinner on Saturday, and gave him some sausage and mashed potatoes. He took a bite of his potatoes and said "mmmm this is good CC". I just cracked up laughing. Ryder has decided he is going to rename everyone, and I am Aunt CC. We were also playing in the pool Saturday afternoon, and Ryder noticed one of Dustin's tattoos on his arm. He starred at it for a minute and then goes "what is that?". My response is "that is white trash", and Dustin said "don't ever do it, it's a tattoo". Then we both just cracked up. He is such a funny little man. Here are a couple pictures of Ryder.

Last but not least...Trigger. We all know that Trigger is what we like to call "special". He never seems to surprise me. I was laying out in the pool on a float trying to get some sun. I then noticed a skinny shadow blocking my sun, and following me around the pool. Then came the snorting and crying, and I figured out it was Trigger. I pulled the float over to the beach and got off because I did not know what he wanted. He proceeded to get on my float. Dustin then floated him around the pool. He just sat there, like in the picture below. For the rest of the weekend NO ONE could get on the float, simply because it was already occupied with a "sun bathing vizsla".

Millie was happy to finally get some rest, and a full belly thanks to Ryder. My sister's dog Lila came, and her and Trigger "rode the short bus" together. All they do is play chew face, and chase each other. This weekend was kind of a vacation for Millie, since Ryder was always dropping food and Trigger had Lila to play with. Lila this weekend ate an abundance of dead frogs. She loves them, and its so gross. We have sticky pads in the garage to catch field mice. A frog got stuck to one of the pads....and so did Lila. Her face must got stuck to one of the pads, and she left the mangled sticky pad and dog hair on the garage floor. I really wish we could have seen this in action!
That is about all that is happening around here! I will try to write more soon!
