Dustin went and got all the supplies to hang the TV on the wall, across from where my glider will be. It is so nice to be married to an electrician/handyman who knows how to do all kinds of stuff! He had to move the cable plug and electrical outlet in the attic, and it took him no time at all to do it.
While he was working on the TV I worked on the cork board I got at Hobby Lobby. I thought it would be a cute idea to have it match the letters and bedding. This way we can always update pictures with out having to buy or change out frames. I know a cork board may be so 1993, but I think it turned out cute! We also added the ribbon to the back of the letters to hang above the crib. We took the same ribbon and wrapped it around the border of the cork board I painted pink. I want to get something else to go next to the letters, but I am just not sure what yet. I think both of these little "do it ourselves" projects cost us under 20 bucks! Please give me your opinions or your thoughts of both of these. I mean I may think they are cute, but I don't want other people coming in thinking it looks awful.
Here are a couple other pictures of the room. Notice the closet already has a ton of clothes! Between Dustin and I, my Mom, and Dustin's Mom this child will never go with out something to wear. Thanks to my job too that gives me all kinds of cool stuff like Boon! Also, ignore all the stuff inside the crib. I have not found a place to put all the stuff yet.
I forgot to post a picture of our flower bed that we finally added in the backyard last weekend to hide the ugly utility boxes. Notice "wheres Waldo" in the pictures. He is a very special dog.

So fun and cute Casey! :) y'all are doing a GREAT job! Love reading and seeing the pics since we aren't close and can just stop by and check it out.. I love the letters! And I 2nd what ash says.. maybe get some extra fabric that matches or maybe even just a plain chocolate brown.. paint works too :) paint would actually look better with the cute ribbon u already have :) love the furniture! Too Cute!!! I love it! Maybe one weekend when y'all don't have anything planned this summer we can come visit for the day before little Miss Clark gets here.
